Lackadaisy Short Film
After Effects compositor for the animated Lackadaisy short based on the Eisner nominated webcomic. Combining finalized animation, backgrounds, and props and VFX to create the finalized look of a shot based on scene, lighting, and other elements. (27 MINUTES)
Lackadaisy’s compositing combines the lively and fluid character animation with the detailed and colorful backgrounds to bring a shot to life.
Animation is exported out of ToonBoom Harmony into pieces so each element, from shadows, highlights, to whiskers and brought in to Adobe After Effects along with backgrounds and effects to complete the shot for the final look.
